Zakon the Invisible, Upholder of the Law. A male Zmee, secretly a eunuch, and the only bull on Zoar.
Second only to Ukhaz in all judicial matters on Zoar, and the principal sheriff. The only adult male allowed on Zoar principally because of his being impervious to the effect of broody females — which would otherwise mentally debilitate normal males during the mating season by making them irrational and unpredictable.
Unbeknownst to him, however, his condition as a eunuch is no secret to either the High Wisdom or his mentor Ukhaz, and is in fact the very reason he was brought to Zoar — though both had very different (undisclosed) intentions.
Like most adult bulls, he is generally reddish or rust-coloured, and has impressive chameleon abilities.
