A moon lasts about 29 – 30 days.
A lunar year is about 12 moons or 354 days.

The intercalary days — those  10 – 11 days between the end of the lunar year and the end of the solar year — are ones of festivity and gaiety, where younglings typically abandon all restraint and run boisterous in the what’s called the Amok.
