The basic principles of reasoning through investigation and analysis: the Scientific Method. It admits nothing which can’t repetitively and independently be appraised as “true”. Hence, the saying, “Nothing exists but atoms and the void”.
In its original form, Zmee Methodics formed a useful framework for empirical analysis. But in its extreme Zeruhawi form, pure philosophy or any form of religion are seen as a kind of socially corrupting influence worse than chechi intoxication. And the political ramifications of this view are that anything which contradicts or muddies the purity of Methodics must be actively resisted and eliminated.
So whereas a Methodicist might be considered spiritually agnostic or a materialist, a Zeruhawi would be viewed as a militant atheist.
