Khrii

Pteranodontids.

Reptilian, long‑beaked flying creatures that are very clumsy on the ground, but masters of flight once airborne. There are many species. The larger ones are generally called Great-Khrii, and some have been tamed to be ridden. They attack on sight if anyone approaches their rockeries, especially Zmee.
