Egg‑Bearer

A Zmee’s female parent. After hatching and a few weeks of nurturing, Zmee younglings are raised communally and so the parent‑child relationship, while acknowledged, is of little significance for most.
 
The Azhakh-Na, however, attempt to maintain lifelong connections with their offspring.
 
Note, there is rarely any relationship between a Zmee hatchling or youngling and the bull who sired it, for none can ever really tell who sired which egg.
